Call for Applications: HSBC 150th Anniversary Charity Programme - Funding Support to Signature Projects 
The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) is going to allocate HKD377 million through the Hongkong Bank Foundation for charitable purpose to support signature projects that meet and serve the need of the Hong Kong Community. 
 
From now to 15 April 2016, HSBC invites applications from Hong Kong-based locally registered charities for this funding support.   Applications can be made under the three main themes as shown below. To refine the scope, sub-themes are introduced, although there is no guarantee that projects will be selected for each of the sub-themes. 
 
1) Youth and Education
Sub-themes: a) Children with Special Needs; b) Parenting Education; c) School-to-work Transition
 
2) Medical Health and Wellness
Sub-themes: a) Positive/ active ageing; b) Mental well-being/wellness; c) Health Education
 
3) Environment
Sub-themes: a) Big Data and the Environment; b) Sustainable Lifestyle and Consumption; c) Environmental Education

As each organization can only submit one application (as the lead applicant), interested colleagues are invited to express your interest and discuss your ideas with Prof YV Hui before preparing the project proposal.
